My name is Aini Putkonen and I’m a PhD student at the Computational Behavior Lab at Aalto Unversity, supervised by Prof. Antti Oulasvirta. I work on user modelling grounded in theories of human decision-making. At the moment, I’m working on simulation models of human behaviour.

Before starting my PhD, I completed a BA in Economics & Management at the University of Oxford. I also worked in software engineering in London. I returned to Finland for my MSc in International Design Business Management.

In my free time, you will most likely find me at the gym, cycling or practicing handstands. Occasionally, I also teach yoga (asana) classes in Helsinki.
